The Hypnoparenting Course

A 7 week programme for parents who want to build their mental health resilience, and avoid losing their patience.

By the end of this programme, you will have…

  • Tools and techniques for calmer parenting – It’s been a tough couple of years, for many parents that’s meant turning into the shouty parent you never wanted to be – it’s time to regain patience and calm, so you can be the parent you want to be.
  • Better sleep quality – Whether or not your little angels wake you 3,4,5… times a night or not, we’ll work on improving the quality of your sleep so you’re refreshed and ready to take in the day.
  • Less anxiety and stress – Can you imagine how you would feel if you could really, truly relax and enjoy the good parts of life?! That’s what releasing anxiety, stress and overwhelm feels like and it’s what we’ll be doing right from that first module.
  • A deeper understanding of you – So many parents have thought it: “Who am I now“? It’s so easy to lose ourselves when we become parents, we’ll explore who you really are now and what brings you joy, so you can get back to feeling like yourself again.

If you’re a parent who wants to feel less shouty, less stressed, or to feel like you’re doing enough as a parent, it’s unlikely you need a class on how to parent better!

What you actually need is to care for you, which of course you’ve already tried!

You know that ‘self-care’ is important, everyone says so, right?! BUT the occasional bubble bath just doesn’t cut it! Especially if it takes longer to fill the bath than you actually get in it (And guess what for many people that’s not even self-care!). Nor does it include scrolling endlessly on Insta!

You need to take care of the internal you so the external you can help other people.

But it’s hard to look after you when you have so many other things demanding your attention. It’s exhausting! Thinking ‘How long until they’re asleep?!’ or ‘It will be easier when…’ doesn’t actually help you now.

It’s not about the time you spend doing things, you’re not messing up because you can’t go on a three-hour yoga retreat every Tuesday. But you can definitely care for you even when you’re busy, when you have the right support.

At the beginning of the course, I was exhausted and suffering from anxiety, and by the end, I am noticeably calmer, happier and more rested. The course has helped me to improve my sleep, and to be able to see, and enjoy, many of the positives in my life. {Sarah}

Module 1: Calm and Patience

It’s time to release anxiety and stress by understanding what causes them, so you can reduce the triggers and learning how to cope better with stressful situations.

Module Highlights:

  • Why your brain does what it does (why you think the way you do!)

Module 2: Sleep and Energy

Even when your kids sleep through the night you can often feel tired and low in energy. In this module we’ll be working to boost sleep quality and energy levels, so that you can be the parent you want to be and still have energy to look after you!

  • What happens when we sleep and how you can improve the quality of sleep
  • Processing stress during sleep and how to make it more efficient

Module 3: Comfort and Joy

Here we’ll explore happiness, the neurochemicals involved and how to boost them, so you can find more comfort and joy in life.

Module Highlights:

  • Understanding what happiness means to you
  • Neurochemicals in real life, and how you can schedule happiness
  • Mood savers for tough days (because let’s be honest parenting isn’t always easy!)

 

Module 4: Your Purpose

Who am I now!? As a parent our identity understandably changes, but it can be easy to stay lost in that in-between land, stuck between our past selves and who we are as a parent, it’s time to reconnect with who we really are.

Module Highlights:

  • Your values – looking at what’s important to you
  • Exploring what self-care means to you (and how to make this as efficient as possible)
  • How to make affirmations actually work for you

 

Module 5: Practical Magic

It’s time to take Hypnoparenting into life beyond the course. In this module we’ll review how we can take the magic of what you’ve learnt and apply it in the practical day-to-day world.

  • Building resilience – a daily practise to prevent overwhelm

Here’s a little tough love – it’s absolutely vital to put yourself first, for your own health and your family’s.

However, I promise to make it as easy as possible for you to make progress with the limited time you have.

Plus by working on improving sleep and energy levels you’ll actually boost your capacity for the things you want to do.

Hypnotherapy?! Is that really for me?

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy means having a single point of focus. It’s actually a really common state that we slip in and out of each day, think staring into space, or getting lost in a book, when you’re driving and lose track of where you are.

We can use this to our advantage to help us relax, to help process stress.

I promise I can’t make you cluck like a chicken, unless that is, you have a true desire to do so!

Do I really have time for this?

Yes! This is about making small changes in your day to day life, with support.

Plus, you’ll be listening to the relaxation tracks while you’re falling asleep, and all the course videos are also available as MP3s so you can listen to those on a walk, or emptying the dishwasher etc.

Finally your access to the course materials doesn’t expire, so you can work at your own pace if you prefer, or come back to it again and again if you wish.
