When Should I Start? How Many Weeks?

You can start at any time, starting earlier will help you enjoy pregnancy more and practise can make a huge difference, but if you’re already 37weeks it’s not too late, you can still benefit from hypnobirthing.

I had a previous traumatic / difficult birth, is this suitable for me?

Hypnobirthing can be hugely beneficial for those preparing for a second or more birth. Especially if you’ve had a previous traumatic or negative experience.

You may wish to consider some one-to-one hypnotherapy session alongside this course to work through your past experience, but it is not a requirement.

Hypno-what?! Is this really for me?

Hypnosis means having a single point of focus. It’s actually a really common state that we slip in and out of each day, think staring into space, or getting lost in a book, when you’re driving and lose track of where you are.

We can use this to our advantage to learn to relax deeply so we can work with our body in labour, and process fears so we can be fully present in labour.

I promise I can’t make you cluck like a chicken, unless that is, you have a true desire to do so!
