Breastfeeding support is vital, especially in the early weeks. Below you’ll find a list of lovely breastfeeding support groups in the area. Most of this information comes from the local Breastfeeding Support Group on Facebook – I strongly recommend you join, it’s an invaluable resource for mums and mums-to-be.
My top tip – don’t wait until after the birth of your baby to get support! All of the local groups listed below welcome pregnant mamas wanting to ask questions about breastfeeding over a cup of tea, you’ll get feeding advice but you’ll also be familiar with the place and know you’ll get a friendly welcome once wee one arrives, which makes going along with a tiny baby, post-birth a lot less daunting.
If you’d like the contact details for any of the groups below, please visit the Facebook page above or send me a message [email protected] and I’ll help you get in touch.
